REASON WHY NAME IS A PRAYER

Often we hear that name is a prayer, is that right?

Yeaa, but before that I will ask you a question. Do you like your name or not? For me, I like my name a lot because I think my name is cool like there is rarely the name of someone who is the same as me. For the first time I think my name is like male name and maybe for everyone who know me because, there is an Indonesian male artist who also has the same name as me He is Wafda Saifan wkwk . BTW for everyone who don't know me ,my name is Wafda ‘Aini and use to be called Wafda. The name Wafda is in the Al- Quran (Maryam 19:85) and the meaning of my name is a Honorable caliph. Caliph is a group (trade) in the desert consisting of camel procession, and the meaning of Aini is my eye or the light of my eyes. So my parents hope I can be a person who is respected by everyone Aamiin

After I searched for several articles on the internet related to the meaning of children’s name, there are several categories of name that are respect in society that is name that interesting, popular, masculine and feminine. For example, the professor found the conclusion of research that the teacher would give a student better grades with a name that sounded smart. Likewise if we give the name of our child who sounds genius then he can be really smart and if we give the name of our child who sounds Islamic then it will be easier for him to be accepted in the Islamic community. 

For me if I have a daughter I would name her Maryam, why? Because as we know Maryam (mother of prophet Isa AS) is the best woman all the time and the best woman in the history of women, from Eve to the last, of course she was special because she was blessed with many miracles by Allah SWT. Scriptures and historical books only write one of the noblest women. He was the one who gave birth to a Person called the foremost in the world and in the hereafter. It is clearly mentioned in Al-Quran , "Hi Mary, indeed Allah has chosen you, purified you and exalted you over all women in the world" (Baqarah 3:42). I hope my daughter become patient and tough like Siti Maryam.

It is not standard / patent. Someone who might have a name that feels bad, but can succeed and become a great person in his life. Because in the end, however the environment assesses the child, it is the child's decision to live his life that determines his future.
