IS IT TRUE THAT UK IS THE BEST EDUCATION IN THE WORLD

Britain is one of the favorite countries of study, both in Europe and the world. This can be seen from the increasing number of international students every year. Recently a research institution called The Social Progress Imperative released the results of research on the level of basic education throughout the world presented through the Social Progress Index, and the UK became one of the countries with education the best in the world. Want to know the facts, please check down below:


  1. Five universities in the UK ranked as the 10th best in terms of reputation based on a global survey of 27 thousand companies.
  2. Study period in England is short. To graduate a bachelor's degree takes three years, while in Scotland four years. While the postgraduate degree is generally taken for a year. This makes students there can start a career faster
  3. Based on HSBC data, studying in the UK is cheaper than in Australia, Singapore, and the United States (US), judging from the tuition fees and living costs.
  4. According to the National Student Survey, the level of student satisfaction in the UK is very high, reaching 86 percent.
  5. Not long ago the UK dominated the list of countries with the most international students, which is spread around 39 universities in the UK.

Those are some of the facts of education in Britain, and how about in Indonesia. From what I'm looking for on the internet, education in Indonesia is still very worrying, why? The causes of the low quality of education in Indonesia include issues of effectiveness, efficiency and standardization of teaching. This is still a problem of education in Indonesia in general. In addition to the lack of creativity of educators in guiding students, a centralized curriculum makes education portraits increasingly opaque. So it is very clear that education in the UK with in Indonesia, we as Indonesian people hope that Indonesian education will be increasingly improved.
