The Comparison of Two Journals (Motivate Learning)

The first journal contains that the views of students and lecturers on the importance of motivational strategies in the process of learning English, which aims to find out the views of students about the importance of certain motivational strategies in teaching English.
The second journal contains that if faced with the activities within the learning process, not a few (students) who have less motivation in learning activities. This resulted in fewer maximal learning processes and in turn will affect student achievement. This study focuses to discuss matters relating to the motivation to learn and student achievement, with the aim of strengthening the importance of motivation in the learning process so that a clear relationship with student achievement. The method used is descriptive analysis and simple correlation to the 97 students taking the course introduction to Microeconomics and Indonesian.

➤The Smilarity between both journal is the importance of motivational strategies in the learning process. Theoretically that motivation to learn it is something that drives it, move it, and engage students in learning (Endang Sri Astuti, 2010). Motivation can be defined as a process whereby goal-directed activity was investigated and sustained consisting of inherent motivation (the motivation that comes from within a person) and extrinsic motivation (motivation that arises because of the encouragement from the outside). Inherent motivation is a motivation that comes from within the individual itself. While extrinsic motivation is a motivation that emerged from outside the individual and often involves the appreciation of others.
➤The Diffrence between both journal is the first journal is about how the students' learning motivation strategies proposed by the dornyei can affect students and lecturers, but in reality not all views are deemed suitable by both parties on the grounds that there are several different views. while the second journal tells how little student motivation will affect their performance. This study focuses on discussing matters relating to learning motivation and student achievement, with a purpose strengthen the importance of motivation in the learning process so that a clear relationship with student achievement.
➤For Method The first and second journal use not so different method. For First journal the data of this study were collected by means of some methods of data collections, such as: questionnaires, observation, and interview. The second journal use The method used is descriptive analysis by taking a sample of several students who have good records and good motivation

So I think enough now in fact these two journals have quite a lot of differences but the point is how our motivation can be very important in the learning process. Thank you for read my blogJ
